E-mail me your own photographs, and I’ll be pleased to have a look.

Created entirely by hand using high quality pastels, watercolour or oils of your choice and with exquisite attention to detail, my portraits are an ideal gift for that special occasion or can serve as a cherished memory for many years.

I am frequently requested to paint clients pets.

Tricks that work in getting really good photos of your dog, cat or horse for example include: having two of you, one with the camera and the other holding a treat near the camera for attracting attention; taking the pictures from low down, animal height; avoiding Flash photography, or strong sunlight. I'm able to travel locally to meet your pet and take photos too.

Please contact me any time with questions you might have and to discuss what you would like in terms of the pet portrait (ie - size, cost and deadline).

I provide a professional framing service at additional cost.
A good choice of frame will add class and stature to the image. Of course, but bear in mind if using your own frame, that it can either enhance or ruin the final portrait.

All my pictures take me more than 10 hours and some have even taken more than 20 hours because of the detail that I try to capture. Each portrait is unique and special to you, so I don't want to lose the quality by rushing or 'making do' (my reputation and professionalism is at stake). So the application of my skills is not that costly per hour, when you look at it this way. You also end up with an adorable picture to treasure for a long time in the future.

I teach local workshops and have my own studio for hosting one to one tuition.
